Press Release January 16, 2021- Implementation of Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO)

Surigao del Norte local cops implements Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) highlighting intensified campaign against loose firearms, illegal drugs and arrest of wanted persons in the entire province.
Provincial Director PCOL NOEL C ESPINOZA identified a total of 26 operations conducted from Search Warrant, Buy-bust, Police Response and Checkpoint yielding 10 persons arrested confiscation of 25 firearms and one hand grenade on January 15, 2021.
“I commend the relentless efforts of our operatives in Surigao del Norte for the collective effort to win our war against criminality and illegal drugs,” Provincial Director ESPINOZA appreciated his troops. Surigao CPS, Alegria MPS and Del Carmen MPS conducted operations on anti-illegal drugs while Surigao CPS, 2nd PMFC, Burgos, Bacuag, Claver, Del Carmen, Gigaquit, General Luna, Placer, Pilar, San Benito, San Francisco, Sison, Sta Monica, Socorro, Mainit, Tagana-an, Tubod MPS and Prov’l Intelligence Unit (PIU) conducted Search Warrants and regular police operations on loose firearms.
Joint Buy-bust Operation of Surigao Del Norte PPO Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and Surigao CPS resulted in the arrest of Jave Calbo Calang. Arrested person was listed as High Value Individual (HVI) and listed in Regional Priority Target List (RPT). Confiscated from his possession were suspected Shabu, and 1 unit caliber .45 pistol with magazine loaded with live ammo.
Claver MPS together with 2nd SDN PMFC and 1302nd MC, RMFB13 conducted joint operation on loose firearms thru buy-bust operation resulting to the arrest of Virgilio Lim-oco Alamida. Confiscated from the suspect were one cal. 45 pistol, one cal. 45 magazine loaded with ammunition, one homemade shotgun with three rounds of shotgun ammunition.
