PRESS RELEASE – March 19, 2020 Campaign against Wanted Person

Personnel Sison Municipal Police Station arrested Luciano Batchanicha Llano Jr., 41 years old, single, construction worker, and a resident of Purok 7, Brgy. Mayag, Sison, Surigao del Norte on March 18, 2020 around 9:30AM in Purok 5A, Brgy. Mabuhay, Sison, Surigao del Norte by virtue of alias warrant of arrest dated January 22, 2019 issued by Presiding Judge Hon. Jacinto B, Elle, RTC, 10th Judicial Region, Branch 29, Surigao City. Subject was informed of his rights under Miranda Warning and Anti-Torture Act during the arrest.

The arrested person is wanted for Rape under criminal case number 13922 with no bail recommended and listed number 6 Most Wanted Person in Municipal level. Subject person is in the custody of Sison Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.

Report on Traffic Accident

A concerned citizen personally appeared to General Luna Municipal Police Station on March 18, 2020 at 6:45PM, informing that a traffic accident transpired in Brgy. 5, Poblacion, General Luna, Surigao del Norte near the vicinity of Mlhuiller Pawnshop.

Upon receipt of information, duty investigator together with the alert team of General Luna Municipal Police Station immediately proceeded to the place of incident, and found positive involving a pedestrian identified as Tita Batistil, 60 years old, female, Filipino, widow, resident of Brgy. 5 Poblacion, General Luna, Surigao del Norte, and a black motopos single motorcycle without Plate Number driven by Jerald Semplicio Mendoza, 21 years old, male, single, Filipino, resident of Brgy. Del Carmen, San Isidro, Surigao del Norte, SP License No. QO219SO2701 and without crashed helmet.

Initial investigation revealed that the pedestrian was across the road when suddenly a black motopos single motorcycle driven by Mr. Mendoza accidentally bumped her and fell on the ground which caused of a head injury. Pedestrian immediately brought to Siargao District Hospital, Dapa, SDN for immediate medical attention while the driver of said motorcycle was brought to General Luna MPS for proper investigation and documentation.
