Apprehension of Wanted Person

SURIGAO DEL NORTE POLICE PROVINCIAL OFFICE

Personnel of Del Carmen Municipal Police Station arrested Danilo Dulguime Tesado, 54 years old, male, married, businessman, and a resident of P-3, Brgy. Caub, Del Carmen, SDN on January 21, 2020 around11:00AM in Purok-6, Brgy Del Carmen, Del Carmen, Surigao del Norte by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for Violation of Section 88 of R.A. No. 8550 (AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE DEVELOPMENT, MANAGEMENT AND CONSERVATION OF THE FISHERIES AND AQUATIC RESOURCES, INTEGRATING ALL LAWS PERTINENT THERETO, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES ) under Criminal Case No. 2019-09 issued by Presiding Judge Sheryl Jane G. Zambrano,8th MCTC, Del Carmen-San Isidro-San Benito, Del Carmen, Surigao del Norte dated June 7, 2019 with the recommended bail of Sixty Thousand Pesos (PHP60,000.00) for his temporary liberty.

The arresting Police Officers duly presented the aforesaid Warrant of Arrest and informed his constitutional Rights under the Miranda Doctrine and Anti-Torture Law. Documentation is now being prepared by Del Carmen Municipal Police Station for the information of the issuing Court.

Apprehension of Wanted Person

Personnel of Mainit Municipal Police Station arrested top number 3 Most Wanted Person, RODEL AGAPAY YUBOS, male, married, 26 years old, driver, and a resident of Purok1,Brgy. Cantugas, Mainit, SDN on January 21, 2020 around 6:30PM in Purok 2, Sitio Capandan, Brgy. Urviztondo, Claver, SDN by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for Theft and violation of BP 6, docketed under Criminal Case Numbers 3915 and 3916,dated January 31, 2018,issued by the Presiding Judge Hon.ROSALIE D. PLATIL of MTC, Mainit, with recommended bail of Two Thousand Pesos (Php2000.00) each for his temporary liberty.

The arrested person was informed of his constitutional rights under Miranda Warning and Anti-Torture law during arrest and now in the custody of Mainit Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.

Theft Incident

SURIGAO DEL NORTE POLICE PROVINCIAL OFFICE

Ruperta Alpahando Calumpag, 32 years old, single, school staff, and a resident of Magallanes Street, Baybay, Brgy. Washington, Surigao City lodged a complaint against Michael Golgat Antolin, male, 22 years old, single, jobless, and a resident of abovementioned place on January 21, 2020 at around 2:00PM for the crime of THEFT that happened on January 21, 2020 around 1:30PM at aforementioned place.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed as averred by Ruperta Calumpag that on aforementioned time, date and place, she was just arrived at her residence hastily went to the comfort room leaving her brown shoulder bag on the living room with the half-opened main door. Consequently, upon her return, she noticed that her cash amounting to Thirty Seven Thousand Two Hundred Pesos (PHP37,200.00) in different denominations inside her bag were missing and believed it was stolen by unidentified culprit/s that prompted her to report to Surigao City Police Station. However, Theft and Robbery Unit of SCPS immediately identify the suspect as revealed by a witness who seen a person hurriedly leaving the complainant house. The said suspect was positively identified by the witness when shown to him the Rouge’s Gallery of SCPS.

As revealed by the elements of TRU that the aforesaid suspect was recently released from prison after serving for the crime of BP-6 (Concealing of Deadly Weapon).  A follow-up operation was then conducted by the said elements for the immediate recovery of stolen items and apprehension of the suspect.
