Arrest on Wanted Person


Personnel of Dapa Municipal Police Station, Kitcharao Municipal Police Station, Agusan Norte PIB and 1st Platoon, SDN PPMFC implemented Warrant of Arrest with Criminal Case number CR-19-40 for Multiple Attempted Murder on January 22, 2020 around 1:00PM that resulted in the arrest of Pedro Munez Fabre, 30 years old, male, Filipino, with live in partner, jobless, and a resident of Barangay Bangayan, Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte and temporarily residing at Purok 5, Barangay Union, Dapa, SDN. The said warrant of arrest was issued by RTC, Branch 34, Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte, signed by Presiding Judge Honorable FERNANDO R FUDALAN, Jr. on March 18, 2018 with recommended bail in the amount of Php120,000.00.

During the arrest, the accused was then informed of his constitutional rights under Miranda Doctrine in the language known and understood by him. Thereafter, he was brought in Dapa Municipal Police Station for temporary custody while waiting for the commitment order from the said court.

Arrest on Wanted Person


A wanted person from Talisay City, Negros Occidental was sighted at Brgy Ipil, Surigao City and about to proceed to Surigao City proper on January 22, 2020 around 1:30PM. At around 3:25PM, personnel from Surigao City Police Station and Regional Special Operation Group, Surigao del Norte Team led by PLTCOL CHRISTIAN L RAFOLS II, OIC, Surigao City PS, while conducting exaggerated mobile PNP checkpoint in the Junction of Ipil-Lipata road, Brgy Ipil, Surigao City, intercepted and arrested one Wilfredo Veraye Estilo aka “Wel”, Filipino, male, 70 years old, single, jobless and a resident of Purok Kahoy, Brgy Ipil, Surigao City and a native of Catabla, Baybay, Talisay City, Negros Occidental by virtue of Alias Warrant of Arrest charged for Murder docketed under Criminal Case No. 97-18709 dated November 25, 2019 issued by Hon. Estefanio S. Libutan Jr., Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court of Negros Occidental, 6th Judicial District, Branch 50, Bacolod City with no bail recommended. Subject accused was listed as number 9 in the Top 10 MWP of Talisay City, Negros Occidental.

The arresting Police Officers duly presented the aforesaid Alias Warrant of Arrests and informed the accused of his constitutional Rights under the Miranda Doctrine and Anti-Torture Law. Subject person is presently under the custody Surigao City Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.

Traffic Accident


A cellular phone call from a certain Jargilyn Trojillo (09384327061) was received by the Surigao City Police Station on January 22, 2020 around 2:09PM informing that a traffic accident has transpired in Km. 1 Rizal Street (Bonotan), Brgy. Washington, Surigao City around 2:00PM of the same date.

Surigao City Police Station personnel immediately proceeded to aforementioned hospital and found therein the involved: TNW, 16 years old, male, single, and a resident of Sitio Bioborjan, Brgy. Rizal, Surigao City driving one unit red/black Honda ACB125CBTF, motorcycle, bearing Temporary Plate no. MT12175.

Investigation conducted disclosed that, victim, while driving the motorcycle along Rizal Street toward Brgy. Luna direction, accidentally hit the rear left edge portion of undetermined pick-up also running on the same direction he attempted to overtake. He fell on the cemented road which caused injuries on his body and was immediately brought to Caraga Regional Hospital for treatment. While the involved pick-up type vehicle continues to travel toward Surigao City Terminal direction.
