SURIGAO DEL NORTE POLICE PROVINCIAL OFFICE 

Personnel of Alegria Municipal Police Station led by PCAPT RODOLFO OMAR G HARADJI JR together with Maritime personnel of 1101st MARPSTA arrested an accused ANTONIO PERU CASUPAS, 33 years old, male, single, driver, and a resident of Brgy San Pedro, Alegria, Surigao del Norte on January 23, 2020 around 7:00AM at Bankerohan, Brgy 5-A, Davao City by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Jacqueline J Ongpauco-Cortel, Presiding Judge of Branch 29, Surigao City dated April 16, 2018.

The accused is wanted for the crime of Murder and Frustrated Murder under Criminal Case No. 7141 with no bail bond and Criminal Case No. 7142 with Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php200,000.00) bail recommended.

During the arrest, accused was duly informed of his Constitutional Rights under the Miranda Warning and Anti-Torture and is now transported from San Pedro Police Station 2of Davao City Police Office, C.M. Recto Street, Davao City to Alegria Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper turn over to the issuing court.

SURIGAO DEL NORTE POLICE PROVINCIAL OFFICE

Personnel of Dapa Municipal Police Station led by PCAPT JAY NUÑEZ ZAMORA arrested Rico Artiza Oraliza, 48 years old, male, Filipino, single, jobless, and a resident of Barangay 10, Poblacion, Dapa, Surigao del Norte on January 23, 2020 around 8:00PM in Barangay 6, Poblacion, Dapa, Surigao del Norte by virtue of Warrant of arrest for the crime of Acts of Lasciviousness under Article 366 of the Revised Penal Code as amended by Section 5, par 2(b) of RA no. 7610 with Criminal Case Number 19-175 issued by Honorable Cesar P. Bordalba, Presiding Judge of RTC, Branch 31, Dapa, SDN dated January 21, 2020 with a recommended bail of One Hundred Eight Thousand Pesos(Php108,000.00).

During the arrest, said accused was informed of his Constitutional Rights under Miranda Warning and Anti-Torture and is now under the custody of Dapa Municipal Police Station pending upon the issuance of commitment order from the issuing court.

Arrest of Illegal Drug Personality (HVI)

SURIGAO DEL NORTE POLICE PROVINCIAL OFFICE

Elements of Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) of Surigao City Police Station led by PLTCOL CHRISTIAN L RAFOLS II conducted buy-bust operation on January 23, 2020 at about 3:30PM in Purok Bay-Bay Rose, Boulevard, Brgy. Taft, Surigao City which eventually resulted in the arrest of BRIAN SULAPAS FAZON, a.k.a. Brian, Filipino, male, 34 years old, single, school utility worker, and a resident of the aforementioned place. Said suspect was arrested sometimes in 2013 for the same violation and same convicted through plea bargaining agreement and was released in Surigao City Jail last 2018. With that, subject suspect was considered as High Value Individual (HVI). The arrested person was informed of his Constitutional Rights under the Miranda Doctrine and the Anti-Torture Law upon her arrest.

Confiscated items from the possession and control of suspect were listed as follows;

  1. One (1) plastic sachet of suspected Shabu bought by the poseur-buyer from the arrested suspect with an estimated weight at more or less 0.05 gram with Standard Drugs Price (SDP) value of Five Hundred Ninety Pesos  (P 590.00) @ (Php 11,800.00) per gram;
  2. One (1) Five Hundred Peso Bill (P 500.00) marked money;
  3. Cash money amounting to Four Hundred Forty Pesos (P 440.00) in different denominations; and
  4. Two (2) plastic sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight at more or less 0.25 gram with Standard Drugs Price (SDP) value of Two Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Pesos  (P 2,950.00) @ (Php 11,800.00) per gram;

The body search on the arrested suspect mentioned was done in an orderly manner and duly witnessed by Hon. Joselito J Eviota, Barangay Kagawad of Brgy. Taft, Surigao City and Mr. Jerson Galotera, Media representative from RMN-DXRS.

A case for violation of Section 5 and 11 Article II, of RA 9165 was being prepared for filing in court against the mentioned arrested suspect.

Elements of Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) of Surigao City Police Station led by PLTCOL CHRISTIAN L RAFOLS II conducted buy-bust operation on January 23, 2020 at about 4:45PM in Purok Aloe Vera, Nueva Street, Brgy. Taft, Surigao City which eventually resulted in the arrest of RANDY NUEVA CASTRO, a.k.a. Boy, Filipino, male, widow, painter, 44 years old,  and a resident of Purok 1, Brgy. Balibayon, Surigao City. Said suspect was a newly identified illegal drug personality of Surigao City Police Station and same considered as Street Level Individual (SLI). The arrested person was informed of his Constitutional Rights under the Miranda Doctrine and the Anti-Torture Law upon her arrest.

Confiscated items from the possession and control of suspect were listed as follows;

  1. One (1) plastic sachet of suspected Shabu bought by the poseur-buyer from the arrested suspect with an estimated weight at more or less 0.05 gram with Standard Drugs Price (SDP) value of Five Hundred Ninety Pesos (P 590.00) @ (Php 11,800.00) per gram;
  2. One (1) Five Hundred Peso Bill (P 500.00) marked money;
  3. One (1) black and red Android cellular phone;and
  4. One (1) medium sized plastic sachet of suspected shabu with an estimated weight at more or less 1.45 gram with Standard Drugs Price (SDP) value of    Seventeen Thousand One Hundred Ten Pesos  (P 17,110.00) @ (Php11,800.00) per gram;

The body search on the arrested suspect mentioned was done in an orderly manner and duly witnessed by Hon. Joselito J Eviota, Barangay Kagawad of Brgy. Taft, Surigao City and Mr. Jerson Galotera, Media representative from RMN-DXRS.

A case for violation of Section 5 and 11 Article II, of RA 9165 was being prepared for filing in court against the mentioned arrested suspect.
