Report in the Campaign Against Wanted Person

SURIGAO DEL NORTE POLICE PROVINCIAL OFFICE

Personnel of Tubod Municipal Police Station led by RANDIE M AZOTE, COP successfully arrested Gilberto Moril Acdal, 61 years old, male, married, farmer, and a resident in Purok-2, Brgy. Capayahan, Tubod, Surigao del Norte on January 28, 2020 around 10:00AM in Purok-2, Brgy. Capayahan, Tubod, Surigao del Norte by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by HON. JACQUELINE J. ONGPAUCO-CORTEL, Presiding Judge of RTC, 10th Judicial Region, Branch 29, Surigao City, Surigao del Norte dated January 9, 2020 for RAPE in relation to R. A. 7610 under Criminal Case No.14691 with no bail recommended.

 Arrested person is now under custody of Tubod Municipal Police Station for proper documentation and subsequently turned over to the aforesaid Court issuing the Warrant of Arrest.

Arrest of Suspect for Trespass to Dwelling, Alarm and Scandal, and Grave Threat

Barangay Kagawad of Barangay San Juan, Alegria, Surigao del Norte together with Purok President of said place turned-over suspect identified as Jaime Odjoy Pelago, 50 years old, Filipino, married, laborer, and a resident of P-3 Brgy. San Juan, Alegria, Surigao Del Norte on January 28, 2020 around 10:20PM.

Investigation conducted revealed that around 4:00AM of January 28, 2020, said suspect smashed the Toyota Hilux, color Black of Zusette Maglaque Dapar, 31 years old, Filipino, single, Businesswoman, and a resident of P-1 Brgy. San Juan, Alegria, Surigao del Norte which was parked outside of their resident. Thereafter, Ramil Maglaque Dapar, brother of Zusette, 22 years old, Filipino, male, single, jobless, went outside and pacified the said suspect. Then and there, suspect fled from that place. After a few minutes, suspect came back to the house of the victim and shouted in a loud voice asking for a fight. Subsequently, suspect entered inside the fence of the house of Zussete equipped with the following weapons: 1 (one) kitchen knife, 2 (two) screw driver, and 1 (one) steel stick with rubber on both ends which looked like a bicycle handle. However, the brother and the neighbor of Zusette, successfully disarmed the suspect. Suspect was believed to be under the influence of liquor during the incident.

Alegria Municipal Police Station received and put the suspect into arrest and duly informed him of his constitutional rights under Miranda Doctrine and Anti-Torture Law in the dialect known and understood by him.

Accomplishment Report in the Campaign Against Wanted

SURIGAO DEL NORTE POLICE PROVINCIAL OFFICE

Personnel of Dapa Municipal Police Station implemented Warrant of Arrests for four (4) counts of Qualified Theft against accused Rogine Mesias Solloso, 24 years old, female, Filipino, married, jobless, and a resident of Barangay Mahayahay, Del Carmen, Surigao del Norte on January 28, 2020 around 6:30PM that resulted in her arrest at Barangay 6, Poblacion, Dapa. The said warrant of arrests were issued by RTC, Branch 31, Dapa, SDN Presiding Judge Honorable Cesar P. Bordalbaon on January 21, 2020 with total recommended bail of Php108,000.00.

During arrest, the accused was then informed of her constitutional rights under Miranda Doctrine in the language known and understood by her. Thereafter, she was held in custody of Dapa Municipal Police Station pending upon the issuance of commitment order from the said court.

Arrest of Alvin Ortojan Migullas for Violation of RA 9165

SURIGAO DEL NORTE POLICE PROVINCIAL OFFICE

Personnel of General Luna Municipal Police Station led by PCPT WISE VICENTE B PANUELOS, conducted buy-bust operation on January 29, 2019 at about 12:30AM in Purok 5, Poblacion, General Luna, Surigao del Norte that resulted in the arrest of Alvin Ortojan Migullas, 19 years old, with live-in partner, male, Filipino, jobless, and a resident of Sitio Pangpang, Barangay Catangnan, General Luna, Surigao del Norte. Said suspect was a newly identified illegal drug personality of General Luna Municipal Police Station and same considered as Street Level Individual (SLI). The arrested person was informed of his Constitutional Rights under the Miranda Doctrine and the Anti-Torture Law upon his arrest.

Confiscated items from the possession and control of suspect were listed as follows;

  1. One (1) plastic sachet of suspected Shabu bought by the poseur-buyer from the arrested suspect with an estimated weight at more or less 0.05 gram with Standard Drugs Price (SDP) value of Five Hundred Ninety Pesos (P 590.00) @ (Php 11,800.00) per gram;
  2. One (1) Five Hundred Peso Bill (P 500.00) marked money;
  3. Five (5) plastic sachet of suspected Shabu with a total weight at more or less 1 gram with Standard Drugs Price (SDP) value of Eleven Thousand Eight Hundred Pesos (Php 11,800.00) @ (Php 11,800.00) per gram; and
  4. One (1) Zusuki key.

The body search on the arrested suspect mentioned was done in an orderly manner and duly witnessed by Jay Uy, DOJ representative, Hon. Mary Gan E. Platil, Barangay Kagawad of Barangay 5.

A case for violation of Section 5 and 11 Article II, of RA 9165 was being prepared for filing in court against the mentioned arrested suspect.

Grave Threats and Violation of BP Bilang 6

SURIGAO DEL NORTE POLICE PROVINCIAL OFFICE

A hacking incident transpired in P-1 Brgy. Santa Cruz, Placer, Surigao del Norte on January 28, 2020 around 3:30PM, wherein a suspect was neutralized and successfully turned over to the responding PNP personnel of Placer Municipal Police Station.

Investigation conducted through the victim, Maynilo Babtisma Valles, male, Filipino, married, 50 years old, jobless, and a resident of P-1, Brgy. Santa Cruz, Placer, Surigao del Norte, while he was unloading the hollow block, suspect named Januario Babtisma Valles, male, Filipino, single, 48 years old, jobless, and a resident of the same place came and approached the victim while bringing a long sharp bladed weapon, locally known “sundang”. Without any apparent reason, suspect hacked the victim. Victim was able to prevent the attack and immediately helped by a certain Alvin Basillo, who pacified and grabbed the weapon from the suspect. After pacified, suspect went berserk and shouting while pointing his index finger to the victim and threatening the victim in bisayan dialect “Patyon takaw Lo”. Further, suspect was observed to be under the influence of intoxicating liquor.

Suspect was informed of his Constitutional Rights in Miranda Doctrine and Anti-Torture Act and nature of his arrest in the dialect known and understood by him. Subsequently, the suspect and the victim were immediately brought by the responding officers of Placer Municipal Police Station including the weapon recovered from the suspect for further investigation and disposition.

Report on Traffic Accident

SURIGAO DEL NORTE POLICE PROVINCIAL OFFICE

A cellular phone call from Traffic Enforcer Cortes (09381106726) was received by the duty desk officer of Surigao City Police Station on January 28, 2020 around 11:45 PM informing that a traffic accident has transpired in Brgy. San Juan,Surigao City (near Bugsay) around 11:40PM of the same date.

Personnel of this Surigao City Police Station went immediately to the said place and found the involved:

Vehicle1 (V1) - one unit red/white Honda CFT125, motorcycle, bearing temp plate no. 150110, Certificate of Registration no. 335782786 dated 11/05/2019 and Official Receipt no. 1551617185 dated 10/31/2019, registered to and was driven by Robert Basa Ongoy, 29 years old, male, with live-in partner, and a resident of Purok 8, Navalca, San Juan, Surigao City, no driver’s license presented. Onboard was one Joneffer Llanto Cobra, 41 years old, male, married and a resident of the same. Both were believed to be under the influence of liquor.

Vehicle2 (V2)– one unit galaxy black Nissan Patrol 4x4 AT, wagon, bearing temp. plate no. VS 8370, Certificate of Registration no. 238923204 dated 01/14/2016 and Official Receipt no. 1663481514 dated 05/07/2019, registered to Ma. Teresita O Encina and was driven by one Marlou Diez Encina, 61 years old, male, married, retired Seaman and a resident of B4 L15, Purok 6, Villa Olympia Subd., San Pedro, Laguna, presented his Professional Driver’s License no. N04-97-403859which will expire on 2024/03/14.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that V1 was travelling along San Juan – Sabang Coastal Rd., from City proper toward Brgy. Lipata direction, and upon reaching the place of accident, the latter was accidentally hit by V2 which was swerving to his lane evading a parked tricycle, V1 then subsequently fell on the road, driver and its passenger sustained injuries and were brought to Caraga Regional Hospital. The involved vehicles and the driver of V2 then were brought to this office for further investigation and proper disposition.
