SDNPPO Spearheads National Simultaneous Expanded Caravan

Surigao del Norte Police Provincial Office (SDNPPO) – In adopting the approaches of the government, an expanded caravan spearheaded by SDNPPO was held at the covered court of Barangay Poctoy, Surigao City to bring the Philippine National Police’s frontline services in gaining support and cooperation, serving as an avenue on information dissemination, rebuilding and winning the trust, respect and confidence of the community today, March 29, 2021.
Provincial Director (PD) Police Colonel Noel C Espinoza headed various activities in providing basic services such as Information Campaign on COVID-19 vaccine, intensified movement to End Local Communist Armed Conflict through testimonials of former rebels, Oplan Tuli, Libreng Gupit to children, feeding program, piglet dispersal through selected recipient in the sustainance of the unit’s Best Practice- Project Baktin, distribution of Information education communication materials against illegal drugs and terrorism.
Said activities were participated together with the 30th Infantry Batallion Philippine Army, Civil Military Operations Officer 2nd Lieutenant Benjamin Elisand de Dios, The Fraternal Orders of Eagles, Philippine Eagle Caraga Region 3, headed by Gov Allan B Japor, Barangay Council headed by Brgy Captain Josephine E Patan, KKDAT Officers led by Provincial KKDAT President Frankie R Salar, Jr., stakeholders and sponsors.
PD Espinoza emphasized in his message the disadvantages of joining the left-leaning groups. He further gave resemblance of freedom being on the leftist affiliations and on the government side encouraging the young minds and the audiences regarding the campaign infiltrations of the terrorist group in the mainstream society.
“I plead on everyone to dissociate away from the rebels as much as they could and not to indulge in any of their activities. I also call on young adults to be part of the Philippine National Police rather than being radicalized on the false ideologies.” PD ESPINOZA concluded.
