SDNPPO Ready for Covid-19 Vaccination Roll Out

Surigao del Norte (SDN) —- SDN Police Provincial Office conducted Simulation Exercise which certified this unit’s readiness for Covid-19 vaccination roll out among PNP personnel at 1:50PM today, April 5, held in PPO Grounds, Borromeo St., Surigao City.
Provincial Director (PD) Police Colonel Noel C Espinoza said that the simulation duly participated by Station Health Unit personnel spearheaded by Police Major Liezel Mindaña together with Regional Health Service 13 led by Medical Officer Police Major Ritche B Palma in preparation for the upcoming vaccination.
The activity depicted the step-by-step process from:
Step 1 Waiting area
Step 2: Registration where QR codes are scanned for verification, patient profile, consent and health declaration forms are filled out.
Step 3: Counseling Area to assess the willingness of vaccinee and cater questions if any.
Step 4: Screening Area where physical assessment will determine whether vaccinee is qualified or deferred.
Step 5: Vaccination
Step 6:Post- vaccination monitoring and surveillance to include the management of adverse events following immunization.
Post simulation evaluations were given by Department of Health, Development Management Officer, Mr. Kevin Sam L. Dingding Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council, Mr. Rowelto E Dumale Jr. and National Immunization Coordinator, Mrs. Marife C. Malacay to further capacitate the vaccination team during the actual vaccination day.
“It is essential that we advocate our well-being and acquire ample immunity in order to sustain our sworn mandate to serve and protect our fellowmen. I encouraged the personnel as well as the peace-loving Surigaonons to undergo vaccination against Covid-19 for no one is safe until everybody is safe,” PD ended.
